About NANS
The North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) was formed in 1994 through the efforts of a group of neuromodulators dedicated to advancing patient care. Since that time, NANS membership has grown to nearly 1,800 members.

A chapter of the International Neuromodulation Society, NANS is part of a global network of neuromodulation organizations and serves as a collaborative partner to multiple agencies, societies, groups, and companies working to advance the science and application of neuromodulation for the benefit of patients.
NANS is an interprofessional society that values the diverse perspectives of its members, partners, and staff. By fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment, NANS strengthens its ability to advance innovation, support multidisciplinary care, and improve patient outcomes.
Mission
The North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) links patients, physicians and health care professionals, scientists, engineers, and industry to advance neuromodulation, drive multidisciplinary collaboration, enhance therapy awareness, and inspire innovation to transform patients’ lives.
Vision
NANS will be the central resource to equip healthcare, scientific, and patient communities with advanced knowledge of neuromodulation and its promise for future treatments, while expanding equitable access to neuromodulation across a broad range of disease processes.
