NANS Advocacy & Policy
Advocacy is a Pillar of NANS’ Mission
NANS advocates on the policy, payment, and access issues that shape the future of neuromodulation — protecting patients, supporting clinicians, and advancing the field.

NANS’ Commitment to Advocacy
NANS is committed to protecting access to care via favorable coverage policies, working with other physician groups for the benefit of our patients, and developing leadership expertise in neuromodulation advocacy among our members. We strive to maintain reimbursement so clinicians can continue delivering essential care, promote the safe and effective utilization of neuromodulation therapies, and monitor proactively for policy changes that affect our practices.
NANS Advocacy & Policy Committee
Under the auspices of the Advocacy and Policy Committee, NANS regularly collaborates with agencies, organizations and companies, including CMS, FDA, Private insurers, State worker’s compensation boards, AMA House of Delegates and CPT and RUC committees, as well as other physician organizations, including the Multidisciplinary Pain Workgroup, Patient organizations, and Corporate partners.
